Projects

Edmonds Kiwanis supports a wide variety of projects and organizations annually, including:

Holly House – Volunteering and collecting donations for Holy House, a children's holiday gift program providing gifts and necessities for low-income children in Snohomish County. 

Clothes for Kids – The Kiwanis Club of Edmonds donates fund and volunteer hours to this local organization.

Edmonds Food Bank – The Club raises money and secures donations for our local food banks.

Dawsons Place – Dawsons Place is a nonprofit organization aiding victims of sexual or physical abuse in Snohomish County.

Delta Foundation – The Delta Foundation Center is home to approximately 150 individuals who work to overcome the devastation caused by severe brain injury.

Washington Kids in Transition -  Kiwanis provides financial support as well as clothing, food and necessary supplies to homeless children attending school in Washington State.

Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program - The KCCP raises funds for pediatric hematology/oncology fellowships in partnering hospitals to find a cure for childhood cancer.

Dale Turner Family YMCA - The Dale Turner YMCA’s on-site and outreach community programs provide free meals, support for homeless and transitional members, child care and school readiness, youth development, and summer meal programs.

Northwest School - The Northwest School for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Children uses Signing Exact English (SEE) and oral communication to prepare deaf and hard-of-hearing children to be self-confident, articulate and academically competitive learners and engaged community leaders.

Young Children Priority One (YCPO) - Projects assisting children from birth to five years.

Kiwanis Children's Cancer Program – fundraise and donate proceeds to support research in finding cures for children's cancer.

Helmet Project - Providing free helmets to young bike riders at several local schools.

Dictionary Project - The Club provides every 3rd grader in Edmonds with a free dictionary at the start of each school year.

Edmonds Senior Center - Edmonds Kiwanis provides financial support for community programs benefiting the Edmonds Senior Center. 

Edmonds-Woodway & Meadowdale High School Key Clubs - Sponsor and assist high school service clubs.

Food Pantries - The Club provides monetary and food donations for the food pantries at Chase Lake Community School and College Place Elementary.

Police Foundation - The Club works with local officials to support for programs benefitting our community.
